Terms of Service

Last updated: August 16, 2026 · Applies to anku.app and all subprocessors.
Questions: hello@anku.app

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Anku (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old or possess the authority to bind your organization.

2. Description of Service

Anku reads your PostHog event streams with read-only permissions and produces three on-demand deliverables: a 1-screen wireframe spec, a targeted user feedback email draft, and an AI code patch diff. If you opt in, Anku runs weekly Monday analyses and emails you a summary. Anku never writes to your PostHog instance.

3. Accounts & API Keys

You are responsible for your account credentials and PostHog Personal API Key. Keys are used read-only, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and can be revoked or deleted by you at any time — from your Dashboard settings, or by generating a new key in PostHog. We suspend connections that appear compromised or unauthorized.

4. Outputs Are Drafts

All deliverables are drafts for your review, not finished work. Code patches are starting points that must be reviewed by qualified engineers before deployment. You own the outputs generated for your project and may use, commit, or distribute them freely.

5. Email Policy

Anku never emails your end-users. The user feedback email is a draft stored in your account. The only email Anku sends is your own weekly digest, which is opt-in and can be turned off at any time in Dashboard → Settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use Anku for illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or extract proprietary algorithms from the Service; (c) probe or scan our systems without authorization; (d) transmit malicious code; or (e) attempt to bypass access controls or rate limits.

7. Billing

Pro is $29/month, billed through Polar (our Merchant of Record). Your first 7 days are a free trial. Your card is entered on Polar at checkout and you are not charged until the trial ends. Polar processes your payment and applicable taxes; Anku never sees or stores your card details. You can manage billing or cancel anytime from Dashboard → Settings → Plan & billing (Polar-hosted portal). Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access runs to the end of the paid period.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. While Anku strives for accuracy in its analysis, recommendations and code patches should be reviewed by qualified human engineers before production use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anku shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination & Your Data

You can stop using Anku at any time. Disconnecting in Dashboard → Settings deletes your stored key and all briefs, outreach drafts, email logs, and deploy markers for that connection. For full account deletion, email hello@anku.app from your registered address and we'll delete your account and all associated data.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. We may update these Terms as the Service evolves; material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' notice.
